From the traditional to the modern:

A family business with very long history.

Over 80 years ago, my grandfather Ludwig Schneider, the co-founder of the Lech Ski School, built his guest house at the centre of Lech am Arlberg. In our living room he installed a small office for the school, which came to be the meeting point for guests and ski teachers.
There was always life in the „Ludwig House“, and guests felt welcomed and like family guests in the setting of the Ludwig living room.
In 1973 my aunt Inge Schneider took over the family business. She gave the house it’s name “Pension Schneider” and overran it with great heart and soul for 44 years. Many long lasting loyal and frequently returning guests speak for her hospitality. And Inge still continues to works with us.
I took over the family business in December 2017 with the legacy of my aunt Inge’s warmth and openness vis-à-vis our guests deeply inspiring me. Continuing on with the family tradition, our guests here at Pension Schneider receive heartfelt warmth, kindness and hospitality. We have fun in our business and are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you in true Schneider style on your next visit!

With warm greetings from Lech,
The Schneider Family
